Our favourite was"The Good Morning Game". We drew little faces on our fingers (with a washable pen!!) and pretended to be the characters from the story.
I like books that encourage and inspire talk - we talked about mornings, what we had for breakfast, what we have to do when we get up and what we might wear to go out.
