This week we shared The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle.
We read the story, and learnt the sign for spider. Then we explored with chalk, scissors, paper and glue.
We had a nice healthy snack and gave the grown ups a cup of coffee. We finished off by singing some spider songs - Insy Winsy Spider and There's a spider on the floor. All the children went away with a free picture book, and one lucky little one got a copy of The Very Busy Spider to take home and share.
