Today's story was Aunt Amelia by Rebecca Cobb. The children don't remember Aunt Amelia as they only met her when they were very small. But today she's coming to babysit. Mum and Dad have left her an enormous lost of do's and don'ts, which the children and Aunt Amelia have a brilliant time following - doing exactly the opposite of what Mum and Dad's list says.
We found a big green enormous crocodile in another story book.
E loved the little children figures and the crocodile puppet - which loved snap snap snapping at everyone's fingers when they all had a go at brushing her teeth.
We explored green dough with big crocodile teeth cut out from some card.
And we made crocodile stick puppets.
We had a nice snack and sang some songs. Everyone went home with a Christmas story book and a lovely bamboo toothbrush.
