Story Cafe is back! We welcomed 23 children and their families to our first Story Cafe. We're putting these on, free, funded by Norfolk Opportuniy Area after taking part in Communication Champion training, as part of First Steps communiyt group's offer to our local families.
We read Colour and Me by Michaela Dias-Hayes, a lovely story about mixing paint colours anbd talking about how special it is to be brown, as it is a perfect mixture of all the colours!
We watched the colurs change as we mixed red & blue, red & yellow, blue & yellow, and all three colours together. The children thought it was magic!
Then we had a go at mixing our own colours and making lots of colourful marks on paper and on ourselves!
We gathered together on the carpet at the end and sang the Rainbow Song, after we had finished painting and shared a snack and a drink.
