So lets all celebrate everything that's brilliant about children's books. Here's a list of my all time favourite authors and illustrators and some links to the Book Trust website.

- Mick Inkpen - have you read "Baggy Brown" it's great.
- Nick Sharratt - we love "You Choose"
- Shirley Hughes - her wonderful Alfie and Annie Rose books
- Julia Donaldson - a classic "The Gruffalo"
- Maurice Sendak - "Where the wild things are"
- Rod Campbell - "Dear Zoo" flaps to uncover
- Mo Willems - just discovered these and love the illustrations - "Don't let the pigeon drive the bus"
