This time at Story Café we shared The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The classic story of an egg, a caterpillar, a cocoon and a beautiful butterfly.
We shared the story, using props. Parents and carers got a little introduction to communication and language development, using the pyramid model. We played and explored the story.
Everyone had a lovely fruit and vegetable snack and a drink. And at the end we talked about the story, looked at the props and sang some songs and rhymes.
